I assume you mean in the days and possibly weeks after cataract surgery, not immediately afterwards for instance driving yourself home.
It is not a good idea to drive yourself home from cataract surgery because there is usually some residual effect from the medicines given for relaxation, e.g. Valium. Additionally, you will typically have the operated eye patched or otherwise covered.
On the other hand, most of our patients do drive to the clinic to be seen the next day after their surgery using the operated eye.
