How do I fix eye vision? I have myopia, I’m -3.25, and I’m really insecure about my eyesight.

There are several ways to correct your distance vision blur that comes from your nearsightedness (myopia). The oldest (and least invasive) is of course to be prescribed the appropriate glasses. While your prescription is not particularly high, there is still going to be some degree of distortion. Contact lenses are the next most common method. They provide a more natural type of vision without the distortion that glasses can induce.

If you want to free yourself from being dependent on either of these, there is keratorefractive laser surgery; most popular type being LASIK. [PRK and SMILE are variations of this.] Another surgical fix is the ICL, an “intraocular contact lens” that is surgically implanted inside your eye without removing any tissue. This is more invasive than LASIK but has the advantage of not causing dry eye and it can be removed as well if that should prove necessary.

If you are over about 50, another option (albeit the most aggressive and costly) is PreLex™ or whatever other doctors might call it. This is the removal of the natural lens of your eye and its replacement by an artificial intraocular lens (IOL). This has the advantage of being able to correct presbyopia and astigmatism as well as your myopia.

There is unfortunately no medical, immunologic, or exercise that can reverse or prevent myopia. Perhaps in the future there may some sort of vaccine or such, but this is mostly speculation at this point.
