What equipment will you use for my surgery?
Know that your eye doctor is experienced with using up-to-date equipment for your procedure. Advances in vision correction technology should be incorporated into your eye surgeon’s practice on a regular basis. At Woodhams Eye Clinic we use state-of-the art laser vision correction technology. All cataract and ICL procedures are performed in our own on-site state licensed surgical center.

What will my recovery be like?
Each patient is different and heals at a different rate than any other patient. Recovery from most eye surgeries takes a few days for initial recovery and a few months before stabilization of your eye is complete. Recovery is a critical time for your eye health. At Woodhams Eye Clinic we provide individualized attention and follow-up for each procedure.
How much will my vision improve after my procedure?
With procedures like LASIK and IntraLASE® most patients achieve 20/20 vision and are able to live life free of contacts and glasses. With lens replacement procedures, like PreLex™, the majority of patients also experience significant reversal of vision loss and see happily without the need for contacts and glasses.
