Anar Maurya, O.D.

Dr. Anar Maurya provides care in the areas of specialty contact lenses, dry eye disease, and surgical management. Her main interests lie in pre & post-operative LASIK/Cataracts/ICLs and managing keratoconus with specialty scleral lenses. She is committed to educating her patients about their eye health and providing compassionate and comprehensive eye care.

Dr. Maurya attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham for her optometric studies upon receiving honorable early admission from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Her academic success paved the path for excelling in private practice, public speaking, and writing for mainstream journals.

Dr. Maurya is currently Co-President of GOSEA (GA Optometrists of Southeast Asian descent) and clinical investigator for Notal Vision. She volunteers locally with Georgia Lions Club, Center for the Visually Impaired, Luxottica's OneSight program, and volunteers abroad with Flying Doctors of America. In her spare time, Dr. Maurya enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and staying active via playing tennis, strength training, and yoga. She has written and contributed to many trade articles and recently published a children's book.
